Hand & Stone Spa Brings Self-Care Ritual To Rockville

ROCKVILLE, MD — Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa has expanded in Montgomery County, bringing its wellness services to a new location at 825 Rockville Pike, Suite D, according to a news release.

Shamsh Alam owns and operates the new Rockville spa, which opened in early February.

In addition to the Rockville spa, Alam has signed a development agreement to open another location in Maryland. There are nine other Home & Stone Massage spas in the state, including in Gaithersburg, Annapolis, Columbia, Olney and Owings Mill.

“As a first-time franchisee, my goal for this location is to provide a high-end spa experience that is both accessible and convenient – where our guests can unwind, recharge, and feel their best,” Alam said in the news release. “The community will be welcomed by our dedicated staff of professional estheticians and massage therapists who value taking care of people. Clients can also enjoy Hand & Stone’s signature hot stone massage and best-in-class facials, all tailored to each individual's needs and to address specific skin concerns.

The Rockville location will feature a team of seven licensed estheticians and seven licensed massage therapists, providing customized massage or facial services.
