Metro Stations to Close Early on Saturday

The Rockville and Shady Grove Metrorail stations will close four hours early, at 11 p.m. on Saturday, for system signal repairs, Metro announced in a news release.

During the Red Line station closures, free shuttles buses will connect Shady Grove and Rockville Metrorail riders to trains at the Twinbrook station. Customers using shuttle buses should allow about 15 minutes of additional travel time, the release said.

The stations will reopen for service at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
