BURTONSVILLE, MD — A Montgomery County man recently won his third prize from the Maryland Lottery, the most recent bonanza was a $50,000 Money Bags scratch-off win, according to a news release.

The Burtonsville man won twice before, once for $10,000 and once for $50,000, and invested those prizes in the stock market, a Lottery news release said. For his third big win, claimed Feb. 27, the winner said, “This time, it’s going into my house. The stock market’s not so good these days.”

The winner, who celebrated with a photo using the nickname “Bag of the Money,” bought the $10 scratch-off at Sagar Beer and Wine, 615 S. Frederick Ave. in Gaithersburg.
