MoCo Schools Make Weather Call For Jan. 7
The school district made a schedule change due to anticipated emergency weather conditions.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Montgomery County Public Schools are closing early on Tuesday, Jan. 7, according to a notice from the school district, due to expected emergency weather conditions.
Students will be dismissed two and a half hours early, the school system said on its website.
Students in morning pre-kindergarten programs and morning half-day Head Start will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m.

Afternoon pre-kindergarten and other early childhood programs, as well as all school and community activities in school buildings, are canceled.

Daycare programs in school buildings are remaining open, as are administrative offices.
The Boundary Analysis meeting for Montgomery County scheduled at Walter Johnson High School has been postponed.
