MoCo Schools Open 2 Hours Late Due To Bad Roads

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Public Schools are under a two-hour delay Wednesday, Jan. 8, due to emergency weather conditions affecting roads, the school said in a release.

Bus services will be delayed two hours.

The school said morning prekindergarten, morning half-day Head Start and other morning half-day programs and field trips are canceled.

Additionally, other programs and activities that begin at or before 10:50 a.m. are canceled.

Administrative offices are remaining open, and child care programs in school buildings may remain open.
