Montgomery County Crime Summary: Sex Assault, Burglaries Reported in Rockville

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County Police for the Rockville region for July 1-9. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A residential burglary was reported in the 200 block of Rollins Avenue in Rockville on Tuesday, July 9 at 1:52 p.m.

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 12500 block of Village Square Terrace in North Bethesda sometime between Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9. Forced entry; equipment and tools taken.

A sex assault was reported in the 800 block of King Farm Boulevard in Rockville between 1 and 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. Police said the people involved knew each other.

A 48-year-old man from Redland was arrested following reports of a commercial burglary in the 14200 block of Travilah Road in Rockville on Sunday, July 7 at 8:36 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.  

An attempted strong-armed robbery was reported at Stone Mill Elementary School at 14323 Stonebridge View Drive, North Potomac, at 12:15 am. Friday, July 5. Police said the suspects are known to the victim.

A residential burglary was reported in the 11100 block of Rutledge Drive in North Potomac on Tuesday, July 2, between and 5:30 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary was reported at a construction site in the 12500 block of Fellowship Lane in North Potomac, between Friday, July 5 and Monday, July 8. No forced entry; property taken.
