Montgomery County Police: Strong-Armed Robberies Reported, Verizon Store Burgled in Rockville
The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Rockville and its surrounding region. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 2300 block of Red Eagle Court in Aspen Hill. Police said the people involved knew each other. Arrested: Male, 29, from DC
A smart card, cash and a bicycle were taken from a vehicle sometime between Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5 in the 700 block of Carter Road in Rockville.
A vehicle theft occurred in the 100 block of Rollins Avenue in Rockville sometime between 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 and noon Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Police said at least four males were involved in a strong-arm robbery midnight Oct 5 at East Jefferson Street and Monroe Street in Rockville.
A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Duke Street in Rockville between 7:45 a.m. and 6:09 p.m Oct. 7. Forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Gude Self Storage, 851 E. Gude Drive in Rockville, between 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 and 6:10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4. Unknown entry; unknown what was taken.
Six thefts from vehicles were reported in this Rockville beat. Five incidents involved unlocked vehicles:
- A bag with documents was taken overnight, between Sept. 29 and Sept. 30, in the hundred block of Wall Street.
- A laptop, medication and cash were taken Monday, Sept. 30, between 9:15 and 11:37 a.m., near the intersection of Ivy League Lane and Hungerford Drive.
- A GPS system was taken overnight between Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in the 800 block of Aster Boulevard
- A grocery bag, cash and sunglasses were taken Wednesday, Oct. 2, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the 100 block of E. Montgomery Avenue.
- Cash was taken overnight, between Monday, Oct. 7 and Tuesday, Oct. 8, in the 700 block of College Parkway
- A set of keys were taken Tuesday, Oct. 8, between 8:20 and 10:50 a.m. in the 800 block of Azalea Drive
A residential burglary occurred in the 10400 block of Heathside Way in Potomac between Monday, Sept. 30 and Friday, Oct. 4. Forced entry; nothing taken.
A commercial burglary occurred at The Verizon Store, 14937 Shady Grove Road in Rockville between 3:30 and 3:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7. Forced entry; property taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 10400 block of Dalebrooke Lane in Rockville on Wednesday, Oct. 2, between 4:15 and 6:15 p.m. Property was taken from an open garage.
A residential burglary occurred in the 14400 block of Kings Grant Street in North Potomac on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 1:40 a.m. Unknown entry; property taken.
A theft occurred at the construction site located in the 100 block of Samuel Manor Court in North Potomac between 1 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 and 7 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.
An aggravated assault occurred in the 20600 block of Whites Ferry Road in Poolesville on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 7:39 p.m. Police said the people involved knew each other. Arrested: Male, 48, from Poolesville
A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 12500 block of Turkey Branch Parkway in Rockville 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6. Police said a group of males assaulted the alleged victim and obtained property.
A residential burglary occurred in the 4300 block of Independence Street in Rockville between Thursday, Oct. 3 and Monday, Oct. 7. Forced entry; property taken.
