Nominate 'Women Making History' In MOCO For Recognition

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Do you know a lady who's making a difference in Montgomery County? The Commission for Women and Montgomery Women wants to know about her, and are now taking nominations for the 2022 Women Making History award.

Nominees should fall into at least one of the following categories, according to the commission:

• Unselfish leadership and hard work in their field
• Exceptional leadership in civic activities
• Developing or supporting programs resulting in positive social action
• Inspiration to others as a role model

The nomination form will remain open until Jan. 20, and asks about the nominees employment, volunteer service, and what makes them unique.
