Pedestrian Hit On Georgia Avenue: Police
A Rockville woman is in critical condition after she was struck by a car near Leisure World on Georgia Avenue, police said.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A Rockville woman is in critical condition after she was struck by a car on Georgia Avenue Monday afternoon, police said. The victim has been identified as Zinash Gedamu, 68, of Georgia Avenue.
Police said Gedamu was hit as she was walking in the 15100 block of Georgia Avenue at International Drive at about 3:51 p.m. She was struck by a driver in a 2015 Honda Crosstour as she tried to cross the street toward Leisure World, police said.
Gedamu was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
