Pedestrian Struck Near Rockville Metro Station

ROCKVILLE, MD — A man was struck while walking on Rockville Pike near the metro station Friday morning, officials said.

The incident occurred at 250 Rockville Pike and E. Middle Lane, Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Pete Piringer said.

Piringer said a Metro bus was involved in the crash, but it is not clear at this time if the bus was the striking vehicle.

EMS transported the man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Some lanes are blocked as of 11 a.m., Piringer said.
