Police, Family Concerned About Rockville Man Missing Since Monday

Gregory Gernert, 53, was last seen Monday afternoon. Family members are concerned because he does not have crucial medication with him.

Montgomery County police detectives are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Rockville man.

Gregory Gernert, 53, has been missing since Labor Day, and police say officers and family members are "concerned for his physical and emotional welfare," as he does not have his medication with him.

Police aid Gernert, who lives in the 1600 block of Bradley Avenue, was last seen walking away from his home on Monday, Sept. 5 around 4:30 p.m.

Gernert is described as a white male, around 6'2", who weighs approximately 250 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair.

Gernert was last seen wearing a blue tank top and blue jeans. Family members say he is familiar with local public transportation.
