Rockville Woman Identified As Victim Found Dead In Pond: Police
BREAKING NEWS: The woman found dead in a pond in Burtonsville has been identified as a Rockville woman who was reported missing.

BURTONSVILLE, MD — The woman found dead in a pond in Burtonsville has been identified by police as a Rockville woman who was reported missing in November.
The victim is Kristin Danielle Bessix, 36, of no fixed address, police announced Friday. Bessix was last seen November 9 in the area of Castle Boulevard in Burtonsville, where she is known to stay, police said. She was reported missing to police on November 22.
Her remains were located in a pond behind the 14200 block of Ballinger Terrace in Burtonsville Wednesday afternoon, police said.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore to determine the cause of death. This is an active and ongoing death investigation. More details will be released as they become available.
