Police Seek Man Missing From Rockville

Abayneh Hegana​ said he was going to church in Silver Spring, but never went to the service and didn't return home, police said.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man missing from Rockville.

Abayneh Arficho Hegana, 33, of Margot Drive, was last seen by a family member at approximately 7 a.m. Sunday.

Hegana left his Rockville residence on foot and said he was going to church on Eastern Avenue in Silver Spring, police said. He did not attend the service and did not return home.

Police describe Hegana as a black male, 5’7” and weighs 130 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and facial hair. Hegana frequently uses public transportation, police said.
