Principal Appointed For New Rockville Elementary School
The Montgomery County Board of Education appointed a principal for the new Rockville elementary school set to open in September 2018.
ROCKVILLE, MD — The Montgomery County Board of Education chose a principal for the new elementary school set to open in Rockville in September 2018.
The board unanimously voted Tuesday to appoint Rachel DuBois as principal of the Richard Montgomery Elementary School #5.
DuBois is the current principal of Piney Branch Elementary School in Takoma Park. She has worked in the Montgomery County Public School system for 18 years.

She has worked as a teacher, gifted and talented director, staff development teacher, assistant principal and principal, Bethesda Magazine reports.
“She looks forward to building strong relationships with students, parents and guardians, staff and community members and working collaboratively with them to support all student success,” Superintendent Jack Smith said.

The new Rockville elementary school is located at 332 West Edmonston Dr. and is currently under construction, officials said.
