Rockville Is The Best Place To Live In Maryland: Magazine

Money magazine has chosen the best places to live in each state, and Rockville topped the list for Maryland.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A new report from Money magazine has chosen Rockville as the best place to live in the state of Maryland. The report -- which chooses the top localities for all 50 states based on criteria like education, the economy, and standard of living -- cited Rockville's low crime rate and sense of community in choosing it as Maryland's top locale.

Money magazine picks the best places to live in the United States every year, but not all states make the list, so the magazine decided to do a list that features the top place in each of the 50 states.

"One of Maryland’s oldest towns is also one of the state’s largest—and with low unemployment and an ultralow crime rate, it continues to attract newcomers," the report reads.
