Rockville City Police: Teen Arrested in Robbery, Lunchmeat Thief Sought

The following incidents were supplied by Rockville City police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Arrests

 

On Aug. 27, A 14-year-old boy was arrested for strong arm robbery, 1st- and 2nd-degree assault, and theft following an earlier incident on Aug. 15, between 8:35 and 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of North Street and Van Buren Street.

2000 block of Veirs Mill Road—A 26-year-old man was arrested for trespassing Sept. 4 between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. 

1900 block of Veirs Mill Road—A 28-year-old man was arrested for theft on Sept. 6 between 12:53 and 1:45 p.m.

Incidents 

Unit block of Denham Court—Jewelry was taken from a residence between 5 p.m. Aug. 30 and 7:09 p.m. Sept. 2. A basement door was kicked in. 

400 block of Redland Boulevard—A wallet was taken from a vehicle Sept. 2, between 4 and 5 p.m. 

300 block of Howard Avenue—An unattended coat, cell phone and passport were taken from a chair on the front porch of a residence Sept. 3 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. 

1000 block of Crestfield Drive—Two GPS systems and a flash light were taken from two vehicles in unlocked garages Sept. 3, between 8:10 and 8:15 p.m.  One of the GPS units was later recovered. 

100 block of Lynch Street—A GPS and cash was taken from an unlocked vehicle between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 4. 

1200 block of Gladstone Drive—A television and jewelry were taken from a residence Sept. 4, between 9:30 and 11:20 p.m. A basement window was broken into. 

Courthouse Square and Maryland Avenue—A male bumped into a female and grabbed a folder full of cash and paperwork Sept. 5, between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. 

800 block of Nelson Street— A box with clothes, silverware and a silver serving dish was taken from a residence sometime between 2 p.m. Aug. 24 and 2 p.m. Sept. 7. A basement door was pried open.

300 block of Mt. Vernon Place—A GPS and cash was taken from a vehicle between noon Sept. 1 and 9 a.m. Sept. 7.

1900 block of Veirs Mill Road—A DVD, lunchmeat and baby formula was taken from a business Sept. 6, between 3:45 and 4:13 p.m.  Police are looking for a black female, 5-feet 8-inches tall at 250 pounds; police said she had black hair in a bun and a dark skin tone. She was last seen wearing knee-length black shorts, a pink tank top with white stripes and a design on the back and a tan purse. 

100 block of East Argyle Street—A pair of shoes, a speaker, headphones, a key, a credit card and a driver’s license were taken from an unlocked vehicle between 10 p.m. Sept. 7 and 10:45 a.m. Sept. 8.
