Rockville RideOn and Metro Sales Outlet to Move

The Rockville sales office for RideOn and Metro is moving, the county announced in a news release.

Beginning Tuesday, riders looking to purchase SmartTrip cards and other transit fare products will have to visit the county Division of Treasury, at 255 Rockville Pike, Suite L-15. The office is in the Rockville Metro Center building, which is located across and slightly north on Monroe Street from the current sales office in .

The new sales office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Transactions will be limited on Monday at the current sales office as equipment is being relocated. On Monday, the office will accept cash or check only and customers will not be able to add value to SmartTrip cards or purchase seven-day regional passes. SmartTrips will be available for purchase, but customers will be required to go to another location to add value to the cards.
