Sport & Health Club Coming to Pike & Rose

Pike & Rose will have a gym.

Sport & Health Club announced Monday its plans for a 32,000 square-foot facility at Montrose Parkway, Rockville Pike and Old Georgetown Road.

The health club is the latest to announce its arrival to Pike & Rose, a transformation of Mid-Pike Plaza into a mixed-use community of residences, restaurants and entertainment venues. Plans for Pike & Rose call for 1,500 residential units, 450,000 square feet of retail, 1.1 million square feet of office space and a 250,000-square-foot hotel. 

Sport & Health has 23 clubs in the DC-Metro region. The Pike & Rose location is expected to open in fall 2014. The new club will have high-tech cardio equipment, personal training zones and “Exergames” for kids.
