Weather Alert: County Schools Change Evening Schedule

With more snow predicted to come for Montgomery County, parents and students can expect changes to the regular public school schedule.

Montgomery County Public Schools will close at the regularly scheduled time on Wednesday, but all school-sponsored after school and evening activities have been canceled.

Day care programs in school buildings will remain open and community-use activities in school buildings will continue as scheduled.

The winter weather advisory for Montgomery County is in effect from 2 to 9 p.m. Commuters should expect strong winds this afternoon, followed by a wind chill advisory overnight.
