Weather Forces Montgomery County Schools To Change Jan 8 Schedule
Weather has prompted Montgomery County Public Schools to change its schedule for Monday, Jan. 8.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — With the area under a winter weather advisory late Monday afternoon, all Montgomery County Public Schools will close two-and-a-half hours early Monday, Jan. 8, officials said. Students in morning pre-kindergarten programs and morning half-day Head Start will be dismissed at 10:50 a.m.
In addition, all school-sponsored after-school activities scheduled for Monday are canceled. Day care programs in school buildings will remain open, officials said.
For the status of activities sponsored by agencies other than Montgomery County Public Schools, check with that agency.
