3 Displaced After Silver Spring House Fire
A house fire in Silver Spring displaced three residents and caused about $125,000 in damages Sunday night, authorities said.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Three people were displaced from a fire that broke out in the basement of a Silver Spring home Sunday evening, officials said.
The accidental electrical fire was reported at a singe-family home at 1718 Republic Rd.
No one was home at the time and no one was injured, Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Pete Piringer said.

At least three people were displaced and assisted by Red Cross.
