5 Men Charged With Murder Of Silver Spring Man: Police

SILVER SPRING, MD — Five men from Silver Spring have been arrested in connection with the May 26 homicide of a 29-year-old man, officials said.

The men were arrested on June 5 and charged with the first-degree murder of Francisco Anton Medrano Campos, Montgomery County police announced Wednesday.

Police say the shooting occurred in the 2300 block of Glenmont Circle, near where Campos lived, around 7 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities did not reveal a motive. All five men, who are being held without bond, are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 7.
