1. According to the National Weather Service, today should be mostly sunny, with temperatures near 50 degrees. Into the evening, temperatures are expected to drop to the the low 30s.

2. If you missed it, a Silver Spring man was sentenced for 15 years in prison for possession of child pornography. Also, .

3. The Silver Spring Lion's club meets at Mrs. K's Tollhouse at 6:30 p.m. New members are encouraged.
