Good morning, Silver Spring! Here are five things to know this Thursday to help you keep up-to-date about what’s going on in the community:

1. Today should be slightly breezy with temperatures in the low 40s, according to the National Weather Service. This evening temperatures are expected to drop to the low 30s.

2. Montgomery County Young Democrats is hosting an event in support of marriage equality at the office of Del. Heather Mizeur (D-20). The goal is to reach out to residents in Baltimore, Prince George's, and elsewhere to make marriage equality a reality in Maryland. The event starts at 6 p.m.

3. The latest issue of The Gazette of Politics and Business: We are Montgomery 2012 is available. It highlights the economic development in Montgomery County.
