Good morning, Silver Spring! Here are five things to know this Monday, to help you keep up-to-date about what’s going on in the community:
1. Today should be mostly cloudy, with temperatures in the 60's, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight, temperatures are expected to drop to the mid-50s.
2. Catch up on the news you missed during the Thanksgiving Holiday with our "News in Review" feature. The county executive is in India and an initiative to deter underage drinkers and impaired drivers stopped over 200 people.

The Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board Committees meet simultaneously inside of the civic building located at One Veterans Place from 7:30 p.m to 9 p.m. The three committees set to meet are the Neighborhoods, Commercial and Economic Development along with Transportation and Pedestrian Safety. Parking is free in nearby garages.
