County Executive Leggett to Hold Forum on 2018 Operating Budget
Feedback from residents is crucial to determining budget priorities.
From Montgomery County: Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett is holding a FY18 budget forum for public input on Wednesday, January 25. The forum will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and takes place at the Silver Spring Regional Services Center located at One Veterans Place.
“Public forums are the residents’ opportunity to let me know what is important to them as I prepare next year’s operating budget for submission to the County Council on March 14,” said County Executive Leggett. “Input from residents for the FY18 budget is crucial in helping me determine the County’s budget priorities.”
The County Executive will announce his Recommended FY18 Operating Budget on March 14. The County Council then provides its input and gives final approval of the operating budget at the end of May.
