SILVER SPRING, MD — Authorities say two people robbed a CVS pharmacy on the 12300 block of Georgia Avenue in April, and Montgomery County Police detectives released surveillance photos of one of the suspects.

Officers received a call around 9:30 p.m. April 17 about a shooting at the CVS. A woman had been in the store and put merchandise into her bag, police said. When she tried to walk out, an employee stopped her by stepping in the way of the door, a police news release says. Authorities say a man approached and fired a gunshot into the panel of the door, and the employee then moved aside to let the woman out.
