Dacha Beer Garden To Take Over Former Brewery In Silver Spring

Dacha Beer Garden, which has two locations in Washington, D.C., is opening its first Maryland site in Silver Spring, reports said.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Dacha Beer Garden, which has two locations in Washington, D.C., is opening its first Maryland site in a former Silver Spring brewery, a report said.

The beer garden will take over the former home of Denizens Brewing Co. at 1115 East West Highway, Bethesda Today reported.

Ilya Alter, a co-owner of Dacha Beer Garden, told Bethesda Today the company does not yet have a timeline for opening in Silver Spring because it is still in the early planning stage and regulatory approvals are pending from Montgomery County.

A liquor license hearing for Dacha is set for 10 a.m. April 10 at 201 Edison Park Drive in Gaithersburg, Bethesda Today said.

The Source of the Spring was the first outlet to report Dacha’s plans to open in downtown Silver Spring.

The Original Dacha is located at 1600 7th ST NW, Washington DC, in the Shaw neighborhood, while the New Dacha can be found at 79 Potomac Ave SE, Washington DC, in the Navy Yard.
