Domino's Offers Reward For Info On Murder Of Delivery Driver

Domino's is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who fatally shot a delivery driver​ in Burtonsville.

BURTONSVILLE, MD — Domino's is offering a $7,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who fatally shot a delivery driver in Burtonsville Monday night.

The victim was identified as Francesco Michael Digiovanni, 45, of Rockville Pike in Rockville.

Digiovanni was located in the Domino's delivery car suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of Aldora Circle at about 11:14 p.m. Monday. He had trauma to his body and was sitting in the driver's seat of a Jeep Patriot, police said.

Additional investigation revealed that DiGiovanni was shot in his Jeep on Van Horn Way near Ballinger Drive. He then drove onto Ballinger Drive, where his vehicle came to a stop at Autumn Glen Circle.

Domino's announced Thursday that they will offer a $7,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder.

Detectives are urging anyone who may have information with regard to this homicide investigation to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070 to be eligible for the reward offered by Domino’s.
