Fire Up Your Inner Strength: Reduce Trauma and Anxiety in 2023
Yoga and meditation can be your guide

As we complete the first quarter of 2023, let’s stop and reconnect with ourselves and one another. This three-hour workshop will be held at Willow Street Yoga Center, 6930 Carroll Avenue, Suite 100, in Takoma Park, MD. on Saturday, April 29, from 2-5 pm. The cost is $35, which includes materials for vision boards. The class includes discussion, healing poses, appropriate readings, and breathwork. https://www.wellnessliving.com...
As we know all too well, fear of the unknown can exacerbate symptoms of stress or causes panic attacks, especially in people who might be prone to them. We can recognize our triggers and find a way to quiet them. We will work on vision boards as part of the workshop.
Cheryl Kravitz, APR, CFRE, RYT200, a Willow Street Yoga Teacher Training Program graduate, will teach the workshop. She received additional certification to teach yoga to trauma survivors, restorative yoga, and yoga for brain longevity. She teaches specialized yoga to people with injuries, survivors of abuse, individuals with dementia, and caregivers. Everything discussed in the workshop is always confidential. All levels of students are welcome. Poses will mainly be restorative.
