Heavy rainfall may cause severe and unexpected flooding within the next 12 hours, according to the National Weather Service, which issued the warning. Flash Floods kill more people every year than any other weather hazard. As little as two feet of water can sweep a vehicle off the road, according to the county's severe weather alert system.
