Grab-N-Go Grocery Event: 700 Boxes Of Food Going To White Oak

Seven hundred boxes of groceries will be given to families in need during the coronavirus pandemic. The event is on June 13.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Government, church, and school leaders will distribute 700 boxes of groceries to families in need on Saturday.

This week's Grab-N-Go Grocery event is sponsored by Montgomery County Councilmember Will Jawando, Holy Cross Community Health, Kingdom Fellowship AME Church, Montgomery County Public Schools, and the county's recreation and transportation departments. Grocery boxes will be available for pick-up at 1o a.m. (while supplies last) at the East County Community Recreation Center (1700 April Lane).
