Hiker Finds Man's Body In Silver Spring Park: Police
A hiker found a man's body in a creek while in the woods in the Long Branch Stream Valley Park, police said.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A hiker found a man's body in a creek while in the woods in the Long Branch Stream Valley Park Wednesday, police said.
At about 11:22 a.m., police received a call from a resident who discovered a body in the park near 8800 Garland Ave. in Silver Spring. Homicide investigators and members of the Maryland National Capitol Park Police Department responded to the scene and found the man's body, police said.
The body was recovered and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be performed.
