Man Caught During Home Burglary Charged In 3 Breakins
A Silver Spring man has been charged in a series of burglaries that occurred in Silver Spring and Wheaton in the past month.
SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Spring man accused of three burglaries is in jail after Montgomery County police caught him in the midst of stealing from a residence.
Josue Antonio Caceres, 44, has been arrested and charged for a series of burglaries that occurred in Silver Spring and Wheaton, according to a police news release.
At 10:25 a.m. on Feb. 21, officers were called to the 300 block of Hannes Street for the report of a burglary in progress and found Caceres inside the residence. He was arrested without incident.

A police search of a bag that Caceres was carrying turned up stolen items from the residence and other evidence, authorities said.
Detectives identified Caceres as the suspect in a Jan. 22 burglary that occurred in the 11800 block of Garner Street and a Jan. 30 burglary that occurred in the 500 block of East Franklin Avenue.

Caceres was taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bond.
