Man Charged With 8 Armed Robberies At MoCo Businesses
A Silver Spring man was arrested Tuesday and charged in a string of eight armed robberies from November 2024 to Feb. 11, police said.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 24-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested Tuesday and charged in a string of eight armed robberies reported between November 2024 and February 2025, Montgomery County police said.
Domonique Nicholas Walker displayed a weapon and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the following businesses:
- Nov. 13, 2024 – 7‐Eleven at 12257 Tech Road (armed robbery).
- Nov. 22, 2024 – Sweet Frog at 11211 New Hampshire Avenue (armed robbery).
- Dec. 7, 2024 – 7‐Eleven at 12257 Tech Road (armed robbery).
- Dec. 19, 2024 ‐ Tropical Smoothie Café at 12263 Tech Road (armed robbery).
- Jan. 25, 2025 ‐ Ertters Market at 521 Dale Drive (armed robbery).
- Feb. 6, 2025 ‐ Ertters Market at 521 Dale Drive (armed robbery).
- Feb. 8, 2025 ‐ Saron Beer & Wine at 961 Bonifant Street (attempted armed robbery).
- Feb. 11, 2025 ‐ 7‐Eleven at 1301 University Boulevard East (armed robbery-Takoma Park Police is investigating this crime).
Walker is charged with multiple counts of armed robbery and related charges.

On Tuesday morning, detectives arrested Walker in Silver Spring and executed a search and seizure warrant at his residence, where evidence was recovered, a police news release said.
Walker was taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bond.
