Man Found Shot To Death In Domino's Delivery Car In Burtonsville

UPDATES: A Rockville man was found shot to death in a Domino's Pizza delivery car in Burtonsville late Monday night, reports said.

(Updated at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday): BURTONSVILLE, MD — A Rockville man was found shot to death in a Domino's Pizza delivery car in Burtonsville late Monday night, police said.

Montgomery County Police received multiple calls for the sound of shots fired in the area of Aldora Circle at about 11:14 p.m.

Arriving officers located a man with trauma to his body inside of a vehicle on Ballinger Drive at Autumn Glen Circle, police said. Officers and Fire & Rescue personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The victim was identified as Francesco Michael Digiovanni, 45, of Rockville Pike in Rockville.

Police said Digiovanni was working as a pizza delivery driver.

ABC 7 reports he was found in a Domino's delivery car.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore will conduct an autopsy to determine the manner and cause of the victim’s death.
