Man Injured In Stabbing At Silver Spring Grocery Store

Montgomery County police said the stabbing happened just after 8:30 p.m. Friday.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A man was injured and another is in police custody following a stabbing at a Silver Spring grocery store.

According to Montgomery County police, the stabbing happened just after 8:30 p.m. Friday at ALDI, located at 12012 Cherry Hill Rd.

When police arrived at the store, they found an man suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

After a brief search, officers located the suspect and took him into custody. It's unclear if he will face charges.
