SILVER SPRING, MD — Authorities have released surveillance video of three suspects they say robbed a 61-year-old man at gunpoint in downtown Silver Spring.

Around 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 27, Montgomery County police responded to the 8800 block of Colesville Rd. for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The victim told police he was entering his apartment building when three suspects, one of whom armed with a handgun, confronted him.

Police said the suspects stole the man's property, including his car keys, and fled the scene. His car was found on 22nd Street in Southeast D.C. the following day, according to the department.
