MARYLAND — A Montgomery County nursery school is hosting a trucking event this weekend, where kids can pretend to drive a school bus, explore a construction rig, or check out a firetruck. There will also be food and face waiting.

Also this weekend, the Maryland School for the Blind (MSB) will host its first See Beyond Festival, which aims to show people how those who are blind or have low vision "accomplish tasks and are a part of our society."

"The goal is to show the public that low vision and blindness are a difference, but not an obstacle to living a whole life," the event posting says. The school said it will hold the festival annually.
