Missing Silver Spring Woman With Alzheimer's Last Seen Oct. 6: PD

SILVER SPRING, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing Silver Spring woman with Alzheimer's.

Petra Escalante-Lerma, 82, was last seen leaving her Connecticut Avenue home around 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Investigators describe Escalante-Lerma as a 5-foot-1, 120-pound female with brown eyes and gray hair. She uses a wooden cane to walk, and was last seen wearing a black and white striped sweater, a white turtleneck, and a green skirt.
