Missing Silver Spring Woman Functions At Level Of Child: Police

Monica Quintanilla, 20, was reported missing by her family. She functions at the level of a 10-year-old, police said.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are asking the public for help to locate a missing Silver Spring woman.

Monica Quintanilla, 20, was reported missing by her family. Quintanilla wandered away from her home on Mt. Pisgah Road, police said.

Her family reports that Quintanilla functions at the level of a 10-year-old, and police and family members are concerned for her welfare.

She is described by police as an Hispanic female, 5-foot-2 and weighs 125 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
