MoCo Schools, County Offices Modify Hours Tuesday Due To Snow
Montgomery County Public Schools and government offices will be operating on modified schedules on Tuesday due to snow.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD - All Montgomery County Public Schools will be closed Tuesday because of the snow. All MCPS-sponsored school and community activities have been cancelled, including athletic practices and events.
MCPS offices will be opening two hours late and eligible 11- and 12-month employees may telework on Tuesday.
Childcare programs at county schools may operate two hours later.

A Code Orange is in effect for workers. While 10-month staff do not report, 11-12-month, non-emergency staff may choose to telework. Emergency staff are required to report to work.

All county government offices and departments will open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
Ride On Buses are operating on an S Service Schools on Tuesday. Although the span of service will be the same as regular weekday service, buses will operate on a reduced frequency.

All Montgomery County aquatic, recreation and senior centers will open at 10 a.m. for drop-in activities.
Tuesday is the first day of summer camp registration in Montgomery County. Online registration opened for county residents at 6:30 a.m. Online registration is available at www.activemontgomery.org.
