Montgomery Blair Student To Compete In National Quiz Bowl
Congratulations to Anson Berns, a junior at Montgomery Blair High School, who is competing at the National Quiz Bowl Saturday.
SILVER SPRING, MD — A dedicated Montgomery Blair High School student is making the MCPS district proud by competing at the inaugural National Academic Quiz Tournaments Individual Player National Championship Tournament in Rosemont, Illinois Sunday.
One hundred high school students will compete in the tournament, including Anson Berns, a junior at Montgomery Blair High School.
National Academic Quiz Tournaments, founded in 1996, organizes the premier middle school, high school, and college quiz bowl championships in North America.

Quiz Bowl is a competitive, academic activity that tests student's knowledge on science, math, history, literature, mythology, geography, social science, current events, sports and popular culture. Students use buzzers to answer the questions.
This year's tournament will be held at The Hyatt Regency O'Hare.
