Montgomery County Election Results: 19% For Trump, 79% For Biden
Here's a look at how Montgomery County voted for president and Congress in the 2020 election, based on preliminary data.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Votes are still being counted in Maryland as mail-in ballots are received in jurisdictions around the state, including Montgomery County.
The Associated Press projected the winners of congressional races would be incumbents, including U.S. Rep. David Trone, who represents parts of Montgomery County.
In the presidential election — the winner of which remains unclear — Montgomery County voted like most other parts of the state.

Statewide, unofficial election results showed 62.9 percent of Maryland voters selected Vice President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, while 34.9 percent chose President Donald Trump and Michael Pence.
In Montgomery County, 79 percent voted for Biden, while 19 percent voted for Trump.

Nearly 19% Voted Early In Montgomery County
Officials said 18.97 percent of the 673,198 eligible registered voters in Montgomery County opted for early voting, with 127,713 casting their ballots over the eight-day period. The first three days were busiest in the county.
