About 12:16 a.m. near the Colesville exit, 24-year-old Kevin Bernard Hinnant Jr. lost control of his Kawasaki bike while driving fast, <a href="http://www.wjla.com/articles/2011/12/silver-spring-beltway-motorcycle-crash-kills-driver-70854.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according a report by WJLA news</a>. Alcohol may have also been a contributing factor, according to the report. Montgomery County Fire/Rescue officials rushed him to Suburban Hospital, but Hinnant died from his injuries.
