Nando's Shares the Love on Mother's Day

On Mother's day this year, is celebrating motherhood in Silver Spring.

On special for Mother's Day at all six restaurant locations, moms get a free dessert with the purchase of any entree.

The restaurant's claim to fame is its Portuguese flame-grilled chicken, but it also serves a variety of delicious desserts.

Dessert favorites include: chocolate spoon cake,  raspberry brulée cheesecake, dulce de leche cheesecake, four high carrot cake, naughty nata (a Portuguese pastry), assorted cupcakes, and bottomless frozen yogurt.

The first Nando’s Peri Peri opened its doors in 1987 outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. Since then, Nando’s Peri Peri has opened restaurants in 34 countries, five continents.

Currently, the company has over 850 restaurants located around the world, including locations in Dupont Circle, Silver Spring, Annapolis, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, and the National Harbor.
