News and Review: Multiple Car Crash Harms Nine and The Blairs Install Electric Chargers for Cars

This week in Silver Spring Blair High School's principal prepares to leave, William L. Clay sits down with Patch, accident on highway injures many including a child, and keep a tab on crime in downtown.
1.Capt. Oscar Garcia of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services gave an account of the inner loop of the Beltway and the injuries of the people who were hurt: Nine people were transported to area hospitals. Five of them had serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The other four had less serious injuries. One of the injured is a child, Garcia confirmed.
2. The end of the 2010-11 school year at Montgomery Blair High School marks the end of a four-year journey for many high school seniors, but it also marks the end of the tenure of Principal Darryl Williams.

3. When it comes to amazing Silver Spring residents, William (Bill) Clay, Sr. is one of the first names that come to mind. Some might say “Bill Clay who?” unknowing that his list of accomplishments are long and far reaching and have most likely positively impacted their own lives.

5. Recently, the company that manages The Blairs used a State of Maryland grant to install charging stations for electric vehicles. The Silver Spring apartment building is one of the few places in Montgomery County to have the cutting-edge equipment – there are additional outlets in Rockville.
