News in Review: Montgomery County Police Officer Charged and Silver Spring Resident Chases in Dreams in Hollywood

1. Montgomery County Police officer Deleros Culmer faces 30 years in prison. When police officials searched Culmer’s home located on Parker Avenue in Silver Spring, they found multiple documents in connection with her boyfriend, a suspected narcotics trafficker whose name is being held. 

2. Taking care of your teeth is crucial according to the Chief Dental Officer of DentaQuest Doyle Williams. Dr. Williams specializes in oral healthcare. He wrote Patch telling us that how he remembered Deamonte Driver—the 12 year old Maryland boy who died in 2007 from an untreated dental infection. A simple visit to the dentist could have saved this boy’s life, but the real danger of neglecting dental disease wasn’t appreciated until it was too late.
