Olney House Fire Displaces Family, Causes $400K In Damage
A family was displaced after a fire broke out at their Olney home Sunday evening, officials said.
OLNEY, MD — A family was displaced after a fire broke out at their Olney home Sunday evening, officials said.
The blaze occurred at about 5 p.m. at 4513 Custis Dr., Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.
The fire started within the wall that separated the family room and back deck, and spread to the exterior and attic, Piringer said.

The damages are believed to be at $400,000. Two adults and two children were displaced. One person suffered injuries from burned hands.
