Park Police Horse 'Hondo' Died At Age 20, Department Says
Park Police Horse Hondo patrolled miles of trails and attended presidential inaugurations, the department said. He died at age 20.
SILVER SPRING, MD — A Park Police Horse named Hondo who attended "countless" events in the DMV region died last week at age 20, Park Police announced on Twitter.
"Hondo attended countless events, presidential inaugurations, and patrolled miles of trails," they department said on Twitter. "He was a 1 in a million horse who would have walked to the end of the earth if asked."
